Hello! My name is Mette.

I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. I’ve always had a passion for business, and in 2021, I decided to combine that with my love for art and storytelling by launching my own art business. My work is inspired by a range of creators, including Neil Gaiman and Tim Burton.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with many talented artists and creators who connect with my art, which often explores emotional expression and mental health. 

I have been most recently been fortunate enough to collaborate with the writer Emily Rose David on the first book of her graphic novel series On Ludlow!

Metskiie x Olivia Rodrigo - Halloween Collab (2023)

2023 - Commissioned by Olivia Rodrigo's to create two art prints in promotion of the song "Vampire." The quotes "I've made some real big mistakes but you make the worst one look fine" and "You sold me for parts as you sunk your teeth into me" were featured on each print. All My Bests (2024) - Britnee Meiser 

2024 - Commissioned by Britnee Meiser to design an art print in promotion of her book "All My Bests" which featured the two main characters of her book, Jack and Immie. Prints were included in the pre-order of the book!

 

Just Stay In - single (2025)

2025 - Commissioned by artist Baladine in her second released song “just stay in” which can be listened to on Apple Music and Spotify!

On Ludlow - Comic Book (2025)

2025 - Illustrated and designed the book On Ludlow written by Emily Rose David. "Four friends navigate New York City in this dreamy, queer, coming-of-rage story about spilling your way back to yourself." Website: Onludlow.com

Asha Banks -  (2025)

2025 - Commissioned by actress and musician Asha Banks to design the cover of her program for her concert at Regents Park Open Theatre, London UK.
